I did mine a few months ago. I used Dynamat Hoodliner (Dynamat Hoodliner
Stop Road Noise! at Crutchfield

mess to get the old stuff out but in the end it turned out pretty well.

engine cover had to be raised slightly to make room for a conversion
engine, so your results may vary.
